This photographic technique always reminds me of a watercolor painting. Not only is it a fun and different way to photograph flowers, it's a great way to combat wind.I did this by focusing on a flower, setting a slow shutter speed, then zooming in while the shutter was open. Last year I did something similar, but instead of zooming with the lens, I leaned toward the flower while the shutter was open.
Same idea, one's just a little more high-tech than the other.
Camera: Canon 40D, 1/10s, f/11 at ISO 100 at about 6:30 p.m.
