Last night, the sunset was so striking, I watched it all the way home on my drive from work. I monitored it constantly, hoping that the colors wouldn't have faded by the time I got to a point where I could pull off and get a photo.I definitely missed it at its peak last night, but it was still good enough to constitute stopping for this shot.
What I really wanted was a moon-at-sunset shot, but the moon was too obscured by clouds by the time I got to my DSLR. My point-and-shoot camera doesn't have the zoom capability that I wanted for that. So I'll try for that another night (or morning).
