When I see rays of sun beaming down through the clouds like this, it reminds me of The Lion King, specifically one scene during while they sing "The Circle of Life." Like this:
See what I mean? Because of this image, which I saw for the first time as a kid, I always think of this when I see distinct rays of sunlight. It makes me want to drive (or run) quickly into that little patch of sun and hold my arms up like I'm offering Simba to the world.Or something like that, anyways.
